This is just further proof that while you can make money ripping people off, a business known for being reputable and honest will always do better in the long run. Is there anyone who DOESN'T think Ed Roman's a scumbag, with the possible-but-by-no-means-certain exception of his own mother?

maskofduality is on a distinguished road
it probably has to do with ibanez starting off as a customer friendly equivalent of ed roman but for fender (and actually being better). imagine the ebay bootlegger who makes all the fake k7s and jems for 5 dollars actually doing a better job at it than ibanez. that's how ibanez began.

however in ed roman's case, i heard that the quality of his bootlegs actually hurt their own sales. so it's a double whammy! ibanez can't speak because they used to bootleg and at the same time ed roman's ibanez copies are worse than the ones on ebay! (no offense to anyone who "saved" money with one of those)
