Am I the only one that finds this joke redundant and overplayed? Not necessarily the guitar in general, but the whole taking something not cool, to be cool. It reminds me of kids wearing shirts with old cartoons on it, and people going "omg thats hilarious i remember that!".

Kinda pissed, I won an auction for what was supposed to be a White EMG 81, but when it arrived I found out it was Ivory. Honest mistake, but pretty lame. So I just ordered a Dimarzio X2N and I decided to try a 1 Meg pot on it.

The squire neck blows. I just spent the money I was going to order the Warmoth Jackson neck with on a Magenta Crush RG7420, so the neck goes on the back burner.

Well I'm bumping my own old thread, but I recently got a new neck for this project to replace the craptacular squier neck with razor blade fret edges. It's a Chandler Charvel style pointy headstock neck. I also added Graphtech saddles and a Dimarzio X2N. So here is the updated pic.
