Incoming custom..........

So, as some of you may (or may not) know, I came second in guitar idol 2008. After much messing about, I found out that I was getting a custom made for me as my prize! WOOHOO - Free custom! I don't actually know the name of the company that made it, but i don't really care lol

Now, truth be told, i'm not really a sevenstring guy. I like having one to mess around with, but they're just not for me. So, I set about desigining a nice 6 string that would do what I want.

And I came up with this:

I know this isn't gonna be everyone's cup of tea, but I like it!

SPECS:
Mahogany body /Quilted Maple top
Maple Neck/Fretboard
Seymour Duncan JB Trembucker/Hotrails -(angled cos it looks cool)
Volume/tone/3 way switch
24 frets
Locking trem

The only thing they couldn't put on it for me were the Duncan's, so I'll do it myself!

There's only one problem with this guitar however - it's not here yet lol!

Lyle

Looks pretty nice man - but is that an LFR?

If it is I guess no worries - Free FTW!

Bad ass!

I've always wondered what maple + a green finish would look like.

Very nice, what's even better is that you won it with your shreddage!

sweet.

Man, Lyle, is the anticipation not killing you? When it gets to you I've gotta christen it with my horribly obnoxious playing while I'm up trying your 7

Free guitar FTW, I like the pickup configuration of it also. I have an older yamaha like that, and i still play it a lot.
