Name That Fretboard Wood

This is aimed mainly at the builders on here, does this look ebony to you?

no, thats rosewood... looks just like the fretboard wood on my RGA7620BBMQM build, real dark, freshly oiled, wide open pores, also the coloration and grain pattern look nothing like the ebony on all 3 of my ebony fingerboarded guitars... i'll post a close up pic once my camera batteries are charged(probably 5 minutes)

But yeah definitely looks like freshly oiled rosewood to me.

The first pic is deceiving. All the others are very obviously rosewood.

Maccassar ebony is streaked but the graining's wrong to be this, and the ebony's streaking is more defined....

i dont even build guitar can tell thats just dark rosewood...but the reasoning behind it is becuase my lp studio has a rosewood board and its really dark like that(im sorry if this post sounds like im tryin to be a jerk....i dont mean to be in anyway...u really can hear peoples tone of voice when they type stuf...im rabaling..have a nice day

This is rosewood. Ebony does not have that "scar-pore" figuring, neither does its coloration vary that much. Oiled, maybe stained, but rosewood for sure.

What guitar is it btw?
