HALP

So after a year's worth of playing on my first guitar ever, I've decided that it's time for me to move on and buy a new one. I need help from you guitar gurus on this forum with my selection of a new guitar. These 4 are my choices:

I adore the inlays on this one. Plus, I'm not much of a vibrato enthusiast.

This one , I think, has the coolest looking and playing neck out of all my four choices. The only thing that puts me off is the pickup choice. I'm looking for a JB/Jazz configuration.

Pretty similar to the previous one, except no vibrato and EMG pickups, which I heard are very sterile.

The shape and the maple top are probably what most attract me to this guitar. Fretboard is rosewood on this one.

I would appreciate it if any of you can impart some of your knowledge and experience to me.
Thanks in advance.

I'd go for DK2 but it's only my opinion.

Go for the DKMGT or the C1. If you're not fussed about a trem, avoid getting one.

I would personally buy the C-1. It's the only guitar you listed with a mahogany body, and it just looks fantastic. The other I would choose would be the DKMGT. If you don't like the pickups, you can always change them later for something else (that goes for any guitar as well).

If you can, try to play the guitars you listed and see which you like the most. You may find that one just feels better than the rest, which is the one you should buy. Even if it has a tremolo, you can block it so it doesn't move.

Depends on what you want exactly, those are some pretty different guitars you have there. Do you want a trem? Do you prefer a set neck? What guitar do you have now, are you looking for more of an upgrade or something different? Personally I'd go for that DK2M, you might find yourself loving the trem.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I'm narrowing down my choices to just the dk2 and the schecter. Quick question, suppose i buy the schecter and i dont like the pickups too much annd would like to change them to a JB/Jazz set. Would I have to reroute the electronics?

buy the guitar that you find feels most comforable - electronics can be dealth with later, neck carve... not quite so much.

you need to play a lot of guitars and see which you prefer.

and 1 year isnt bad at all - i had my first guitar for 4 years before i got a new one
