Options for LFR changing

Well, the LFR in my Stagemaster is going tits-up. The knife edges are knackered to hell and it won't keep tune very well, it's rusted here and there, and the back intonation screw hole is stripped. And I can't get the action very low without the bridge bottoming out in the route.

So what options do I have that don't involve filling the body? I'd just do that and go TOM & Bigsby, but I don't have the tools to fill the body.

OFR? Will a Kahler fit an LFR route? Any other options I might be missing?

An OFR should fit (with minimal if any modifications) in an LFR route, although I've never touched a Stagemaster specifically.

A Kahler operates under a completely different principle, and the route isn't even close.

They actually have plates now that cover Floyd routes that you can install the Kahler on. The OFR is probably the easiest solution though, if your trem has the same route. You'd almost be better off e-mailing the company and asking if the route is compatible.
