I need help!!

I need to chose between guitars.
I saw this thread and I immediately had a gas attack

This is the one mentioned in the thread. I have heard nothing but good things about it.

Buy B.C. Rich DLXJRVO Deluxe Jr. V Electric Guitar online at Musician's Friend

Then there's this one. (reverse headstock ftw!) I've personally never played it but looks very similar to the other one.

Jr. V NJ Deluxe

I've been in the market for a 7. But this is one the worst cases of gas I've ever had. So... should I get a similar priced 7? Or get one of these??

PLEASE HELP!!!

Currently sevenless

it really depends on what you play and what you tune to at the very least. both them V's have a 25.5" which so do most 7's. which means you can handle low tunings on the V. but do you solo? do you require the range of the high E that will obviously be compromised with a 6 string. if not then go with your gas and get that fix brother. if you do require high end range for lead work then i'd advise going with a 7.

judging by your nile avatar, you should know they use 6 strings and tune to B standard with a dropped A. and last i saw them they played dean guitars with 24.75 scales.

so for me personally tuning would be the biggest factor for the verdict. depends on your tast though.

Ya I'm aware of the nile setup and whatnot. (I have the same gauges as karl right now 10-70 lol.) I do fiddle in lead work now and then. I wanted a 7 to get more into lead and still have the low end. Nile does some awesome, sometimes sloppy, wankage with 6 strings. I need a guitar with a floyd too. I guess 7's will still be an option if i still want one. I just gotta work my ass off for money. haha
