NGD: Ibanez AS73

Well, as many of you probably know, today was GC's huge-ass Memorial Day sale. I went, hoping to find a good deal on some gear. What I found was beyond a good deal. Now, I'd been GASing for a 335-type guitar for quite a while now, but I was able to fight it off until today. Fortunately for my wallet, it was marked down from $350 to $270. I don't have any high-res pics right now, but I did take some pics with my phone as a little teaser.

They're a lot better than what I thought they would be, especially clean. They have a great clean sound, which is great, because I bought this guitar primarily for jazz purposes. Still, I think I'll get them changed down the road (By a pro, of course. I'm afraid of changing pickups in a semihollow).

Yeah, a lot of guitarists that do their own mods won't even think about changing pickups or any electrical mods on a semi-hollow body and if you're unsure and not confident about it I wouldn't attempt it either...

That is my main 6-er. great score dude! I just picked up and AF75TDV (the one that looks like a white falcon a bit). and it's a killer hollowbody.

If you know how to do a pickup swap in a solid body, a semi hollow isn't too bad so long as you have a plan about how you're gonna do it. Whatever you do, don't just take out the pots and detach the input without knowing how you're gonna get them back in place. If you want advice on how to do it, it's really not all that tricky.
nice buy man. i am in love with the artcore series. I've been REALLY tempted to buy one of the Artcore Customs.
