I always suspected that Guitar Asylum was a bunch of ripoff artists

I always wonder why their prices are so fucking high on everything.. they got a line of custom blue snakeskin soloists in that would have been $3200 tops from matt's music and they asked $5k for each.
Remember that Jackson that was $6k? GA are asking $6k, anyway..
whereas this is one is $4260 for the exact same fucking thing

Jackson Custom Shop Soloist AT Custom Tiger Eye (NEW)!! - eBay (item 230253085681 end time May-25-08 15:13:47 PDT)

Thank God zim got a Caparison dealership so nobody is forced to go to those crooks anymore.

Thats why I got my Caparison from Meestursparkle. Too bad Nick didn't have the Cap. deal then. I paid at least $300 less than guitar asylum wanted.

I hear nothing but bad things about that place and their prices are always ridiculously high. I've called them a few times about certain Caparisons and they never once would budge at all on their asking price.

I appreciate all your guys supportive comments. If you think those prices are bad, look at Boogie Street's. That guy sells everything at LIST prices. We're supposed to sell those for 20-30% less than that. I don't understand those people, but whatever. It's a free country but that's not how I roll. Certainly no way to create goodwill.

The worst part about places like GA and Boogie Street is that people are dumb enough (or unfortunate enough to have to) shop there and keep them in business.

I honestly hope they continue their policies for obvious reasons I find it amusing.

Imagine every shop in america charging list price then you have Australian guitar prices.

An emg 81 was 350 dollars not to many years ago, luckilly not anymore with the rise of ebay and overseas buying.
