i had a tokai PRS copy, sold it. nice guitar, but my LP won out lol (when it was workin' fine).

did you by chance have a look at peavey HP series as well? damn those are some sexy guitars..

Never really checked out those Peaveys, they're basswood/rosewood board/fixed bridge which was really not what I was looking for.

are you SURE they're basswood?

because i was at a peavey shop a few years ago w/ my buddy, to get strings for my LP..

and the owner wanted to test out a real gibson LP vs a low-cost peavey.

gibson: $1500 LP studio.
peavey: $400 HP EXP?

tone: the exact freakin same (to my ears, back then). damn was i scared

Looks like the HP Special series are all Basswood, while the HP Signature series are Agathis or Mahogany depending on the model. Anyways, enough about the damn Peaveys, back to admiring the Agile
