On 6 string necks, the wizard II is about 2mm thicker down the middle, the whole way down the neck, than a wizard/superwizard (sw is like a degree rounder than the wizard)
On 7's its more like a mm thicker, and theyre a bit flatter

I am TOTALLY gonna disagree with you on that one
I really just dont get on with the wizard too well anymore, used to love it, but its too thin for me. The wizard 2 is the nicest 6 string profile ive used on a production guitar imo

Noticeable to me... I'm twiddling on an RG450 w/ wizard neck and it feels a lot skinnier than the the Wizard II. This is esp. true if you're comparing 7 string necks.

Arctodus will become famous soon enough
Original wizard does not have a flat spot on the back.

Wizard II does this "U" shape with a flat spot on the back, I suppose so your thumb has better articulation. Wizard II also is slightly thicker

Funny to me because the wizard is skinnier yet it feels more comfortable then the odd shape of the wizard II.

See, I can't comment on the difference, because I have an unfair test.
I have an ibby RG350dx (wizard II), and an RG7620 (Wizard) but one's a 6 string, and the other a 7, so i can't really tell!

Yep, It's made from bits of real Panther... so you know it's good.

Wizard II.= 19mm@first fret and 21@twelth fret, D shape, broad shoulders flat and thin
Wizard....= 18mm@first fret and 20@twelth fret, C shape, rounder, skinnier
S. Wizard= 17mm@first fret and 20@twelth fret, C shape, like wizard but very smlightly skinnier and asymmetrical

The only Super Wizard neck I've ever played was on a J custom RG9000 series (9670 to be exact) which In my opinion is the best Guitar Ibanez has ever made. The asymmetrically of the neck gives it more grip all the while being ultra thin and verrry fast. The wizards however are the standard for an Ibanez shred neck.

That's the Current "Wizard Prestige" neck you have listed as a Wizard, the original Wizard neck and and the "Super Wizard" are identical in spec. The S-W feels different because of finishing and the Bubinga Strip(which is what makes it a "Super").

The Super Wizards were not supposed to be asymmetrical, and none of the one's I've played have been. They were just the updated Wizard neck used on the RG5xx guitars from about 1998 to the early 00's.

Now, there are about 2-3 other "Wizard" profiles used on J-Customs, but that's a whole other story.
