I agree, bolt ons are a fail. But I'm not complaining since I lucked up with this guitar. I think I may go with the Blackouts, I hear great things about them, I would just like to play a guitar with a pair equipped.

What's fail about bolt ons? They sound better, and the fret access only sucks if your technique sucks.

I love bolt-ons. I just don't like the square bolt-ons like Jackson has...icky. Ibby bolt-ons ftw!

Jackson's neck joint used to be nicer (the one on my old stealth slayed the ones on my ke3/dk2) but fuck, I love those DKMG's. I've nearly bought one off ebay so many times

Selling my Dean and Moser V's, check out the Guitars For Sale forum

On my Jackson, the bolt on is horrid. All of my guitars are bolt ons, but my Jackson is the worst, it is a pain getting to the higher frets. And the neck likes to move a little no matter how tight I get the screws. I am thinking I should put cardboard on the side of the neck where it bolts on to keep it in place. Has any one else had this problem? I agree, Ibanez bolt ons are a win, I would still prefer neck thrus, but I have always been afraid that if the neck breaks, warp etc etc, the guitar would be trash if it was a neck thru.

I guess I'm in a small minority because the huge bolt-on on my charvel custom and the COW7s never bothered me and I actually like how solid they feel and sound
