New Guitar Day :D

So I kept waking up early in the morning. Something is disturbing my sleep but I dont know what. I decide to get up, 2 o'clock is way too early for me but I cant sleep. So I get up and the first thing that comes to mind is its been a week sinse my guitar was shipped. So I get up and walk into the kitchen to get a drink and the think hey, mabye customs has sent me a letter about the fee's for the guitar. Theres no mail in the kitchen but mabye mum didnt check the mail box before she went to work. So I walk to the door and see something out of the ordinary.

Hmmm. Could it be it really? Customs hasnt sent me anything so why the hell is this box here... in my house.

I take a closer look.

Closer...

: shred:

Yes it must be it. Hell freaking yes. Small box though, must be a pretty small guitar. Well I know everyone likes to show off their fancy knives so....

Hahah thats right its the miracle blade baby.

Stabby Stabby

Not much more than a light saber in length.

Snap crackle pop.

Its no hardcase but its actually a pretty nice softcase.

Drumroll........

The first thing I think is my god, this guitar looks really sexy in real life, amazing finish. Never seen a guitar that looks this polished and well constructed!

New resting place.

Paco and Murphy look on in awe.

Edit, and oh yeah. About the custom fee's. Nothings come in the mail and mum never payed for anything. She rekons you don't pay custom fee's on used guitars . Thats news to me but GOOD FREAKING NEWS. Can any Aussies shed some light on this?

fuck, it came! congrats man, it looks awesome

...Each guitarist has an evil fat 40 year old blueswankler trying to get out, If you give in to temptation you'll be sitting next to a fender playing john lee hooker while trying to keep your combover in place.

Hey dude! Awesome score!

And u certainly do pay customs on used guitars, Customs makes no differentiation between used or new when it comes to guit-fiddle land and buying things from ebay

But you are in the clear or u wouldn't have it! Customs can't check everything lol! Awesome news!

I imported one once and they held it cause the dude wrote on the tag it was worth like $170... which of course it wasn't, and I didn't even ask him to reduce the price on the customs info cause it was already well under $1000... If I was customs I woulda checked it too!

Good score man, enjoy it!

One thing thats getting me about this guitar is the string tension, it takes my FULL effort to get anything above fret 17 to a full bend, does anyone know the fixes for something like this?

^what size strings you got on it? You could try raising the action or going down a gauge. Sweet guitar dude, sexy grain! And cute mice.

BTW, I realized that before DEJ came along, only australians had posted in this thread. Fun fact.
