As my Wshburn got dirty... i had to clean it .. and make .. little mods...
So... lets astart..
oh and Big Thanks to nikt and Rick

What am i using

loose strings.....

it has to be clean everywhere...

and the fretboard

Dunlop FTW

Some tape on the neck pickup... Dime style

and a piece of a sponge on the headsrock

Cool...

and a Paper Razor on the back of the headstock...

looks nice dude!! my friend had one of those and they were fun to play.
is your's really headstock heavy? his when you put it on would just lean toward the ground constantly

Well... i changed the place ot the ... how the fuck is the thing called where the strap is put to the guitar,,, forgot..
so i changed it to the rear of the backplate ( screwed it in the palce where the scres are.. )
and its really well balanced... no neck dives... awesome

Besides.. that washburn.. its a cheapo' guitar ... but man .. its soo awesome...
Great neck... truly awesome for the money

Whats the tape on the pickup for? were your strings catching on the edges of the pickup?

Well... Dime used the tape so the strings will not catch the pickup edges

... but he had a floyd.. and without a floyd your strings cant catch the pickup edges

So the tape is just to look cool

I had an Ibanez with the pickups taped... to keep them from falling out..
