So what happened to the GRs or GMs? Is it only eBay material if I decide to get one?

Also.. Parker or Steiny? That's a big dilemma for me heh.

The GMs are basically dream material now. I waited 6 months for them to restock but nothin'. I got mine through Scratch and Dent. If you look on Musicyo, there is still a ridiculous wait time. I emailed them countless times and they would A.) Give me some bs answer, or B.) Not even respond.

My best advise is to watch for them on http://www.musicyo.com/categoryfilter.asp

Yeah I've been monitoring musicyo for a year now and I honestly believe the steinberger supply is just not going to happen. The best bet is the bay with stuff like this:

STEINBERGER GM-7TA CLEAR AMBER - SERIAL N001813 - eBay (item 110249044728 end time May-08-08 19:00:00 PDT)

I'll veto the new transcale.

I still want one though.

That leg rest would actually be fairly usable. I used to own a GM and due to the small size of the body, the neck is pushed closer to your picking hand- making fretting awkward and uncomfortable sitting down. So it'd be pretty balls to have that.

I keep looking at the demon and thinking how much I admire steinberger for taking such a different approach, yet at the same time I really, really wish they just made a synapse with the M body.... now that I would buy in an instant.
