I think the first thing I'd do if I got one is take the body off and route a new, normally shaped one for it

I was wondering why MusicYo kept getting less and less models of Steinbergers. Good to hear that retailers outside of that site will be getting them again!

The idea of reissues is really exciting though - if they reissue the Scepter, I'll be pounding on my local retailers door before they even open to order one.

Very cool - I just watched the linked video and this new Trans Trem transposes up & down 1 or 2 half-steps. This is much more useful than the old version imo, which had it's smallest transposition increment as a whole-step up or down from regular E tuning.
