THE MOST RECENT NON-PICSTORY WITH PICS IN EXISTENCE!
Got my JS a couple days ago. Post-setup, I'm really enjoying it. The sound is fantastic from the FRED/PAF-Pro combo. The old-school heel joint is, well, old-school. I used to own a JS1 about 15 years ago (holy crap I'm old... holy crap, Satch is OLD).

So here's the non-picstory pics. I took a closeup shot of the rosewood board. It's weird in person... it's the most computer generated looking grain I've ever seen.

Rosewood is just like that. In person for some reason it just looks more uniform than I've seen before, hence the computer generated comment.

Hell ya man, I'd love to get my hands on a JS1000, but the funds just aren't happening. I spent at least an hour recently at the local store just jamming on one. Congrats!

These are great guitars. Always preferred them over the Jems. They just seem to play easier for me. Nice score.
