NG&PD!!! (carvin content - 56k NO WAI!1!)

After about a 2 and a half month wait, my Carvin finally arrived! It actually came on monday but i couldn't get it until today so without further adu, here it is, my Carvin picstory.

What a beautiful sight don't you think??

I've waited long enough for this guitar so i'm not wasting anymore time

What's that i see peaking out of the box???

Oh, it's one of these...

And, onto the latches. Latch #1

Latch #2

Latch #3

and finally...LATCH #4
and sorry about the blurry-ness of these pictures. I was actually opening it up for the very first time while taking pictures so i was beyond anxious to see this bad boy.

TADA!!!!!!!

some more blurry, indoor pictures

and one more for good measure

time to get this thing outside on this gorgeous afternoon and get some decent pictures

i could stare at this guitar all day

'ass' shot

love that neck!!!

I had a decent amount of time to sit down with this guitar today and wow, i'm just blown away. Hands down, the nicest guitar i have ever seen/played. Out of the box the action is perfect, it was almost 100% in tune and everything was working flawlessly.

It sounds easily as good as it looks and i'm just crazy about this guitar!!
My only gripe with it are the pickups. They're a little too weak for the kind of stuff i play so i'll probably swap them out someday but for now they'll work just fine.

here are all the specs for it in case you're interested:
+ DC400T GUITAR W/WILKINSON TREMOLO 2PU
+ FA PIEZO BRIDGE OPTION GUITARS
+ QSS4 UMBER STAIN,SUNST BRST W/QUILT
+ DTS DEEP TRIPLE STEP STAIN
+ 5MW 5PC-PC LAM MPL NCK W/WNT STRIP
+ RB FULLY ROUNDED BODY EDGES
+ TN TUNG OIL FINISH BACK OF NECK
+ RIN REVERSE INLINE HEADSTOCK
+ QPH4 QUILTED HEADSTOCK ANNIVERSARY
+ BMF BIRDSEYE MAPLE FRETBOARD
+ ABD ABALONE DOT INLAYS
+ STF STAINLESS STEEL FRETS
+ BC BLACK CHROME PLATED HARDWARE
+ ABL ABALONE CARVIN LOGO
+ HC11 GUITAR CASE FORM FITTED ABS

But wait, there's more??!?1/?/?

On my way home from Philly i stopped in at a Sam Ash and i was dead set on picking up a holy grail. So i walked in, asked the guy for one and was all set to leave when i noticed something else. Well what was that something else ???

just a little hint

and....

boom!

Absolutely amazing pedal! Hands down, this reverb sounds just as good as the holy grail PLUS you get a tremolo effect and some pitch shifting. There are also some fuzz type distortions available but that's not why i got it.

Definitely try one of these pedals out if you get the chance. for $99 this was BEYOND a steal.

So, that's it.
Thanks for reading!

that is a beautiful guitar

...Each guitarist has an evil fat 40 year old blueswankler trying to get out, If you give in to temptation you'll be sitting next to a fender playing john lee hooker while trying to keep your combover in place.

Beautiful guitar, I'm loving the combination of the black hardware with the amber cherry burst.

Gorgeous guitar.

Is it just me, or is Carvin's inline headstock getting more and more rounded-looking?

I Really Like Ibanez Seven String Guitars

Origanally posted by Variant - Pulled from the river Styx, the mighty black oar of doom in hand! I certainly would not call this particular guitar an "axe" more like a club. Whereas Noodles' KxK would run through an emo, spilling his insides for a quick death, this blunt mace would bludgeon the unfortunate effeminate soul, breaking bones, bruising muscle, and causing internal bleeding to lead only to a slow, painful death
