Floyd Rose question

cool bro thanks, i was thinking of sanding it down anyways because all my other 4 guitars are black as well, do you recommend filling in the other pickup holes as well, i rarely use the neck and i wouldnt use a single coil at all i dont think

All this lo pro/zr talk might be a bit much. If its a TRS, its a direct re-fit for an original floyd. If thats the case, why bother with anything else?

If had one of this, my list of mods would be this:
1-New pickups
2-OFR.
3-unleash own.

because i got it for free and i dont like floyd rose , thats why i was exploring other options

Well, getting a floyd rose for it would be cheaper than buying either a ZR or a LoPro. Even if you WERE to block it, it'd still be the cheaper alternative.

I mean, if you were going to go far enough to fill in the neck pickup route, might as fill in the trem route and make it a hardtail anyway?

ya thats what i was thinking of doing, i dont mind putting money into it, i play mostly 7 strings so itd just be a spare guitar sittin around for running scales and whatnot, what about the neck? could you just replace the nut with a normal one?

Yep, they have nuts specifically for that.

I have NEVER played a guitar that had a Floyd route filled that didn't sound like shit. It just kills the tone of the guitar. I would buy a replacement LoTRS and block it.
