So, I was over at the EBMM site...

Ernie Ball® Music Man® John Petrucci JP7 BFR Guitar

Wow. I don't normally like brown finishes, but the gold accents it really nicely.

Any idea what one of these bad boys (JP) costs?

I must admit that's pretty sexy.

Still doesn't justify price though

I'm assuming he's going to want to mass produce these rack pies, and why not? I love racks, I love pies, so put them together and you have pie covered titties. - JJ

Are we talking about the BFRs or the 2008 Limited Edition?

That is nice. How are those trems? Is that just a vintage style trem that you would find on a Fender? I'm surprised they don't offer these with an OFR.

It's closer to Wilkinson trem. When you use it with the locking tuners it stays in tune very well. It's not as stable as an OFR but it's very nice.

Oh. Thanks. I actually like the few guitars I've played with Wilkinson trems. Still though, I would have thought that Petrucci would have insisted on having a heavier duty trem with all the bar stuff he does. I guess it works for him though.
