![]() | Warning: useless (minor) rant... I think I'm going to pick up an RGA121 and throw some Duncan's in it, because I want a simple 24 fret fixed bridge 6. RANT: Why the hell did they put a giant maple cap on a mahogany guitar? I keep wanting to look at the BACK of the thing rather than the front! ![]() Anyone here have a 121? Opinions? My only real concern is the frets... I'm addicted to Carvin stainless jumbos. |

![]() ![]() | ![]() Here is what the back looks like. **EDIT**Oh nevermind, you know what it looks like, you were just wanting an opinion. My opinion, I absolutely love it. It is easily the best 6 I have ever owned. The different tones you can get even with the V7-V8's are phenominal. I think Duncan's are a good idea, or Evo's would sound great in one too. And I personally love the way the cap looks on it. |

![]() ![]() | Yeah, definitely give them a shot. I honestly did not even think about putting new pups in it for...4 months at least. I know a few guys personally that still stand by the V7-V8 pups. Only complaint I would have ever about them is that they occasionally are not crisp enough. But the tone ranges are awesome on them. (And btw, I still have the stock pups in mine... ) |
