The Vandenberg rules, great neck and sounds fantastic. Definitely a guitar I've been tempted to buy many a time, but fortunately (sadly?) lack of funds prevented me getting into trouble with the missus.

One day, though, one day...

They are decent guitars. a friend had one and he seemed to like it, but traded up to a charvel almost immediately.

OrsusMetal is a jewel in the rough
Peavey's are very underrated guitars. My store carries them and most people don't even realize that they make guitars. The typical line is, "...oh whoa! When did Peavey start making guitars? When did that happen, this year, last year?"

They aren't advertised very well. They're USA work is amazing. Even their $500 range guitars are fantastic. If they had any production 7's (they don't anymore, but I haven't checked in awhile I may be wrong) I'd picked one up without hesitation. Especially if it was a V-type or a HP.

FS: Engl E530 Tube Preamp.

a 7-string Rotor would quite possibly be my next axe if they did hehe.

They do make stellar guitars. they make great products across the board, from what i've seen/used.

spread the word. or is it still the "peavey is cheap shit bad sound" mentality?

3 cheers for free gear!
