Just placed an order with Warmoth
I've been wanting to put together a custom Strat for a while now, so I finally decided to do it. I found the exact body/finish I wanted in Warmoth's showcase, so I called and placed an order for it and most of the parts for the guitar. Just have to order a neck from Musikraft and try to find somewhere to get Duncan pickups for cheap. Here's what it should end up looking like.

Will do. I'm going with a Musikraft neck because they sell copies of the Charvel San Dimas neck shape, which is the most comfortable neck shape I've ever played. I'm going to leave it nice and raw too with just some sealed wood stabilizer.

I'm planning on doing the same thing (warmoth strat) but mines gonna be like no other strat ever... Mahogany body, mahogany neck, ebony board. Interesting.

I was thinking about going with a mahogany body, but I just went with alder instead. I really like how alder sounds for 80's metal stuff.

Just called Musikraft and ordered the neck, which was the last thing on my list. Now I just have to wait for everything to arrive. I just went with a birdseye neck since they didn't have any standard maple ones in stock. It's the bottom neck in these pics.
