It's possible that it's just the fact that his pictures got compressed and it's just noise in the photos but it looks like the edges of the "blades" have some black epoxy filler, so unless it's just the compression from shinking the photos down (which it could be, hard to say without seeing the full hi-res shots) it looks like there is filler in there.

Agreed, but even in the first pic you can clearly see the winds on the strings and it looks like epoxy around the inlays unless it's just compression fooling the eye which it could be. I was just saying due to the "tight inlay" comment that was made, still looks like a nice guitar (pretty fretboard especially IMHO) either way.

I hate the ebony that ESP uses. It's so slippery and it looks and feels like plastic, which is exactly how I feel about most of their guitars in general.

That black one looks amazing. But still not worth the price tag imo. I know I haven't played it in person, but you can just get so much more guitar for the money.
