You won't regret it. The newer ones without the absurd pickup configuration are really quite simple to use and sound great, with ridiculous playability.

I'd recommend the purpleburst finish myself as I love all variations I've seen of it.

Are you gonna get a trem or no trem one?

Hey, the EBMM Morse is my main (shred)fiddle at the moment.
I really love it! (Oh, I have no 7-string at the moment...)

I have lots of high quality guitars (Ibanez Prestige, Washburn USA Custom Shop, Gibson Custom) but the Morse is my favourite.

I still don't know. I've always been a trem player but lately I changed a bit my approach to the instrument, so...For first I'm gonna try both version if I'm able to do so, and then I'll decide. Let's say that now I see myself with a fixed bridge one, but who knows ;-)
