that left me speachless

...Each guitarist has an evil fat 40 year old blueswankler trying to get out, If you give in to temptation you'll be sitting next to a fender playing john lee hooker while trying to keep your combover in place.

Now... if only Ron Thorn would make a guitar with another STRING...

Seriously though... that's utterly beautiful.

Yeah man, that was the guitar that started it all for Eric. I think it's #010 IIRC? It's a black limba body with P-90s and after Ron built that guitar it became one of his favorite recipes, hence the same specs for the Junior 90 model. I think it's safe to say that Black Limba + P-90s (his stapletops being my personal favorite, but I'm biased ) = amazing blues/rock/jazz tone. The Practicing Geisha inlay on the backplate looks ridiculously awesome in person too. Here's some more shots of #018:

Btw, I know Eric has at LEAST one more coming (it's the first ever Thorn resonator guitar! ), maybe even more than that!

I feel that! I've asked him roughly 5,628 times, give or take a few. Trust me, if he ever changes his mind and is willing to make one, I'll be first in line!
