Because one of these will completely blow away the RG321 in terms of quality. The RG321 I had my hands on seemed like a toy compared to my RGA. I am never buying an Indonesian Ibanez.

Be the change you want to see in the world.

Oh, shut up. The Xiphos is boring? The new ZR is boring? What exactly do you want? Holographic guitars?

No need to tell people to shut up here.

Beside the Xiphos (and that ZR, if you wish, but that ain't a guitar), what's exiting with Ibanez this year? Come on, you know Ibanez ain't the no.1 guitar company this year when it comes to new models... Most people are disapointed with what they offer. Schecter and ESP are doing better imho.

The only Ibanez I like are the Xiphos and the older RG models. Like my 520QS, RG550, RG76/421!

And I'd take the BC Rich CST over the Xiphos.

Looks like my MIJ RG421, with the Prestige neck. Otherwise, the same. And my 421 has Dimarzios, so it sounds better. The 421 is definitely better quality than my brother-in-law's otherwise identical MII RG321.

Nearly every Indonesian Ibanez I've played has been a cheap piece of shit. Perhaps the Xiphos is nice, but the 321's, 7321's, and all the GC-only models I've played have been crap.

So yeah I'd take this 1521 over a 321 in a heartbeat, though I agree with previous comments about the RGA121.....I'd much rather have that than this 1521. But I imagine there's a significant price difference as well.

If this one's priced around the 1570, then it's a good value, IMO.
