Ramsay777 is a jewel in the rough
Just got an email from Tim at Bareknuckle P/U's

I asked him what he'd recommend for my Ibanez RG1570 with regards to my favourite tones being Paul Gilbert's and John Petrucci's...

Bridge - Miricle Man
Middle - Trilogy Suite
Neck - Cold Sweat

Should be gettin them ordered at the end of the week when I get paid.

She'll be getting the Tremol-no treatment too

Thoughts?

I'm totally craving for my Nailbombs...
Should be here soon...
Especially with the vacant hole that's in my guitar

You can't go wrong with the miracle man, and cold sweat.

In any language that you learn to speak -- love is twisted and defined as weak

TheMissing's GAScon status: GAScon 3... New geetar... But now I need to find a new pickup...

The Miacle Man/Cold Sweat combo is awesome. I really wanted to put a Miracle Man in my Caparison but didn't want to spend so much $. I guess they are cheaper on your side of the pond though.

Yeah man, they're still pretty pricey over hear compared to the likes of dimarzio, etc. But I imagine they'd cost you guys a fortune!

About $140USD shipped. Not that bad but a lot when you just spent about $1700 on a guitar and your fiance' wants to know why you have to buy something else for it

Tim makes a tasty sandwich, and a tasty sandwich is always worth a little more. Bareknuckle = Good Value.

$140 is about £72... cheaper than we get them, 7 string humbucker is £99, same price as a covered 6, nearly $200, and a set of two is £190, nearly $380. I'm looking into swinesheads myself, materials aren't quite as top notch, but they're still bloody good, and about the same price as seymour duncan etc

Wait I had that conversion wrong. It's really $180 USD before shipping, so over $200.

ah, that does make it more for you, especially considering how cheap you get "big brand" pickups
