Fernandes has been making a LP-shape + Floyd for YEARS.
I think it's called the Burny.

...and it's not available in the US.

"Thank YOU, Jim Day!"

Demeyes will become famous soon enough
Wasn't there some floyd equipped LPs at Namm this year? I don't think it suits them at all to be honest.

It was Crazy Train until a ridiculous amount of Floyd usage came into play

Sounds like it goes out of tune after some use... hmm... LFR or OFR?

rage2 is on a distinguished road
Whats up Cody... thx for posting the vid... found it from the links on the youtube video page haha.

Just to answer a few of the questions here... I shot the video to demonstrate how well the Floyd Rose worked on a Les Paul, so ya, the ridiculous amounts of FR usage was absolutely necessary LOL. This video was done pretty much right when we picked the guitar up, so the strings were new and not stretched, so it did float slightly flat near the end. Now that the strings are stretched from a few days of playing, there's zero staying in tune issues, even when going way harder on the bar.

Gibson did introduce the Axcess at NAMM, but that was after I decided to pursue this project. They're kinda pricey though...

LP Axcess Custom w/Floyd Rose Silverburst CH Floyd - MSRP $5880.00
LP Axcess Custom w/Floyd Rose Ebony CH Floyd - MSRP $5527.00
LP Axcess Standard w/Floyd Rose Ice Tea Chrome - MSRP $5292.00
LP Axcess Standard w/Floyd Rose Ebony CH Floyd - MSRP $4939.00

I choose an Epi instead of a Gibson on this project because I didn't wanna possibly fuck up one of my Gibsons so this was more of a test project. I've heard a lot in regards to FR jobs killing sustain and tone, so I used my best sounding Epi on the project. After playing the guitar for a few days now, it feels and sounds pretty much like before. I didn't notice any changes in sustain, and very very minor tone difference that's very subtle. Kerry (the guy in the vid) liked the guitar so much he's going to fit a FR on his Gibson Vintage Mahogany Studio.

BTW Cody... when we gonna jam? haha we talk about it all the time but u never show up!
