WTF?!?!

Ok so i was practicing my modes 10 minutes ago and my guitar died again, my pod isnt getting any signal. i brought in to a local shop about 2 weeks ago because of the same problem and they said it was a loose connection in the output jack. Ok so i get them to replace it and well 10 minutes ago my guitar dies again, im just frustrated at the fact that i brought in my guitar twice in the past like 2 weeks and its still having issues.

the jack on my UV is doing the same thing too actually, at the moment punching it a bit seems to work but im going to take the soldering iron to it tonight and smother it in solder so it doesn't come loose again

Knights that say

Are the screws in the jack tight? Not only the jack plate but also the jack itself? Could also be something putting pressure on the jack, maybe the soldering gets pressed by the body itself due to bad positioning?

Strange anyway. Could also be that they just did a shit job

is the nut tightened so the jack isn't moving? I just had to tighten mine a bit today. The cord was moving due to the nut and signal was intermittent.

learn how to do this stuff yourself, it's pretty simple, and you'll save a ton of money.
