harkonnen8 has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Having some problems with lp

why should string set 13-56 feel too loose on my lp. Could it be truss rod related?Tuning - DGCFAD

Well, Les Pauls are short scale, and you're tuned down a full step.
That's pretty heavy gauges though...

highs are ok and tight, but take bigger gauges at bottom, and everything will be ok

yeah, i'd get it set up.

i haev 10-52 on my LP in standard, it's not lose. i have gone to drop C and the strings started feeling a little bit wimpy.. but 13-56? you should be fine

3 cheers for free gear!

I thought those were pretty heavy gauges already, but I have wussy fingers.

+1 on the pro setup, I have 13-56's in drop A on my Dean V, and while a little flappy they're holding up ok...sounds like something is up with the axe

Selling my Moser V (£500), ESP LTD H307 (£550) and Iron Maiden Strat(£900), check out the Guitars For Sale forum
