New Schecter Stiletto guitar- what is that trem???

Schecter Stiletto Classic Electric Guitar - Free Shipping, Lowest Prices on Solid Body Electric Guitars at Music123

Looks like a killer guitar. Love the body shape, love the ebony board, emg's have coil taps it looks like, but what is this trem?

can anyone tell me more about it? At first glance I thought it was an ofr- which is what I was hoping for. But alas! It is not. Shecter/gotoh trem? What is the quality like here? How is it comparable to the ofr? What is so special about it? I'm guessing there is something unique about it seeing how this whole guitar stands apart from most of the other new guitars in schecter's 08 line.

Sorry if this is common knowledge or something- but I wouldn't ask if I knew. Thanks in advance.

It is a brand new lisenced trem made by Gotoh. Looks like pretty awesome quality. I would bet it's right up there with OFR and Shaller.

I've been told these won't be available in most places till march sometime. I've only been able to find these available at music123.com. The cheaper versions are out there though. But I'd rather have this version. Just concerned about the trem.

Gohtoh usually makes pretty high quality stuff so I'd imagine they'd be pretty darn good, not OFRs (I think they come on some of the higher end Stilletos) but still better than most licensed junk.

I'm assuming he's going to want to mass produce these rack pies, and why not? I love racks, I love pies, so put them together and you have pie covered titties. - JJ

Gotoh's been making a steel baseplate Lic Floyd since the late 80s. This is that trem.

Comes on EBMM guitars as well.
