I used to have a fretless thread around here somewhere but i could not find it? owe well..heres a new one of some fine fretless guitar noodles...

I'm hugely into fretless guitar and bass. My fretless guitar is an old strat copy my dad and I converted on our kitchen table, and is generally kept in Open C tuning, and my fretless bass is an acoustic Aria four-string that I tune in fifths. Hours of fun!

It's one he made himself, totally from scratch, although I think he had some replicas made at one point.

Know a source for better pictures? That on is unfortunately the best I found. The other one on his MySpace account isn't really any better. I'm really curious about the bridge and use of standard tuners.

He had a great gallery of all his guitars (he has some nice fretless harp guitars as well as the six-strings) on his website, but it looks like it's been shut down unfortunately.

Incidentally, I highly recommend his 'Voices in the Wind' album.
