I'd try to find someone selling a PH-R before you try any other pickups honestly. Try the Caparison forum, somebody might have one for sale there. I've owned 20 Caparisons and I can safely say the PH-R works extremely well with them.

I would rather find one but I posted that I was looking for one on the caparison forum last week and haven't had anybody reply. That forum is not very busy and it seems like the guys with the PH-R's aint swapping em.

Well i am going to listen to Megadeth and hold out for a PH-R. I have posted in a couple of forums looking for one. Hopefully I can find one sooner or later. I just couldn't make up my mind on anything Duncan or Dimarzio and from what I have heard from a bunch of Caparison guys the PH-R is the tits. Now I just have to wait to find someone that thinks EMG's sound better I also had serious thoughts about a BKP but after what I spent on the guitar I might be sleeping on the couch for a while if I spend $160 on a pickup. Although it might be worth it
