Theres a Blackmachine on ebay for anyone who's interested...

...just incase anyone is after one, as orders are closed/there is a massive wait for them. This was on ebay a month or two ago aswell, for a much higher price, which noone bought.

PLEASE::: Don't make this some UK vs US economic price battle, yes I know guitars are expensive over here. And it's not for people to bash Blackmachines either, that's not the reason for this thread.

...I just thought to a potential buyer this might be interesting, or even a solution, rather than waiting for a newer one. The starting price is £1495, if the auction doesn't get much attention then that'd be a decent price if you dig the guitar, although i'd say it is maybe inferior to newer ones with it being quite an early one (i think).

EDIT: forgot the linkage - Blackmachine B2

Thom x

While its technically a nice example, nothing about that particular example sets my pulse racing. Which is a shame, since everyone here knows Dougs produced some absolutely jawdroppingly pretty guitars...

I kind of wish Doug hadn't gotten so tangled up with the budget ones, since a Wilkinson on that would look badass.

Hmm, it's kinda the opposite for me.
I've no idea what they play like as I've never played one either, but with the exception of this one (which looks kind of dull, at least with these low quality and rather boring pics), I think they ARE completely stunning guitars.
I watched some guy playing one once and just went a big rubbery one for the headstock and finish.

You might as well be suckin' Wes Borland's no-talent dick if you play with any more than six strings on your fucking guitar.

The magic is in the playability and the sound. The 884 I played (the first fanned 8 string) was quite simply the most amazing guitar I've ever laid my hands on. I try not to think about it too much as I can't afford a Blackmachine B7.
