they work now. it would appear to be an eclipse, which is want you want.. so yeah it should do the trick.

the pickups in that are probably worth $100 alone.. is it mahogany?

Those are pretty nice, I don't like them but they're not bad guitars, just not my style.

Other than the missing string, it looks like a nice guitar for the money.

yeah its mahogany heres the rest of the specs from musicans friend.
Specifications

Construction: Set Neck

Scale: 24.75 in.

Body: Mahogany

Neck/Fretboard: 3-piece mahogany/rosewood

Inlays: Flags w/model name at 12th fret

Pickups: EMG-81 active set

Electronics: 2 volume, tone, 3-way toggle

Hardware: Black + Earvana compensated nut & Grover tuners

Bridge: Tune-o-matic w/stop tailpiece

Binding: White (neck, headstock)

Frets: 24 XJ

i dont know if this one has two 81's in it but if so what other emg should i put in the neck?
i think the 81 would be to "sharp"?
im thinking a 85 or a 60.
what do you guys think?

i'd put blackouts in it if you dont like what it comes with.

pretty sure my C7 comes with XJ frets.. i prefer the frets on my LP studio.
