Yeah I spoke with Ron about it a while back when we were working on my first Thorn and I don't think the information posted by Ibznorange is correct from what he told me. I'm pretty sure they run closer to what DCGL has posted, but a little less if it doesn't have the following:

1) custom paint
2) exotic woods
3) custom inlay

If it's a standard model with just a different paint job it's not going to run you $3K but I'm pretty sure that since it's made in the California Custom Shop (Burbank IIRC?) it's going to cost a bit more than $1,500 unfortunately.

beepx22 is on a distinguished road
i once priced a custom A-7, with the following features, Mahogany body, AAA flame maple top, neck through, (maple neck/maple fret board) reverse head stock, clear blue finish, EMG 707, Floyd rose, and custom Tragedy/Comedy mask inlay at the 7th fret, and i believe the price quoted me was in the area of 5000. sadly being a musician, all i'll ever have is the dream and the photoshop pics (somewhere) anyway, the moral of the story is, they told me a standard A-7+ custom started at 1300, that was for no frills, just paint and wood.
