Fender XII

I've always fancied the idea of a 12-string, and a 12-string electric even more! Anyone have any experience with this particular model? Any other recommendations for solid body electric 12-strings (since this model runs ~$750USD )?

What a Djentleman!

I've played one at a local Sam Ash, and I loved the way it felt. Surprisingly low action. I can't really say much more about it, it was a loooong time ago, that's all I really remember. I hope that kinda helps.

Very cool! I don't think I've ever actually seen one in person, and even if I did, I was probably uninterested at the time.

What I'd really like to see is a 12-string electric in H-S-H configuration.

Perhaps it's time to go on over to the Carvin website and see what they can do.

In the mean time... Anyone know any artists/recordings that utilize an electric 12-string with humbuckers?

I have no idea if 12 string has humbuckers, but I'm pretty sure the solo is on a 12.

Perhaps my search would be better fostered with semi-hollowbody/hollowbody 12 strings.

I've wanted one of these for quite a while

And c'mon, how hard is it to put a couple humbuckers in a Strat I know my first step would be swapping the bridge pickup with a humbucker. Step two would be a likely fruitless quest for some compatible piezo system.
