   | I'd buy this if... it weren't for the self customized AANJ.  Why? I love the oldschool non-aanjs and I especially love the old 770 DXs. I've always wanted one of these, i'd prefer a blue one but the red ones are just as slick. I might pick it up. I emailed him an offer.  1991 Ibanez RG-770DX with OHSC and MAJOR BONUS!!! - eBay (item 150210814527 end time Feb-01-08 23:55:01 PST) Although it looks alright, it still bugs me and if I owned the guitar, it'd kill me to see that everytime I picked up the guitar.  |

| i was always a big fan of the blue 770s, but damn! am i liking that red one  . at least it seems the guy did a decent job on the AANJ, i don't think it would bother me in the least. i usually don't get too bent out of shape about cosmetic blemishes, i mean, it's a guitar! you're supposed to spend more time playing it than looking at it. |

| That's pretty bad for a "professional" modification. I really wouldn't trust anyone re-drilling holes in one of those old necks either. |

 | Its true what they said, how the old-square bolt joints seemed to give the guitar more "umph" and tone.. Least in my years of owning RG's, thats been the general assumption for myself personally. Its a shame tho, AANJ's feel so much better though =[ |
