![]() | My new 6's(need help identifying one) Well I picked up the "explorer" copy on craigslist just as a project so I can basically just try to learn guitars in and out. It came with all electronics, but the only things that are salvageable are the neck, body and bridge. The extra holes in the body were for some sort of effects unit I believe. I plan on just make it a poor mans special. I'm not tryin to make it shreddin machine just more or less a guinea pig. Oh yeah did I mention it only cost me $5 lol I figured worse come to worse its decent firewood. I had to put in the RG570 I just picked up in the pic too. I plan on makin my next 7 an Ibanez! Any help figuring out what company made the "explorer" and all suggestions are greatly appreciated |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Wow, that is some spot Adam. I was going to reply that I was completely mythed about what it was. Because lets face it, an unfinished bare explorer could have been anything. A Gibson, Epiphone, Hamer, Tokai.... |

![]() | yeh the electronics came with it but theyre all but useless..I may cover up the holes or may leave one open for a kill switch or somethin. At this point Im just getting all the tools I need, and then I'll come up with a plan. But thanks a ton and mad props for spotting it! |
