True, the upper horn does look retarded. Even if you're not gonna be lifting by the horn, it's pretty cool to grip it with while you're walking around or whatever.

I never tried out a scalloped fretboard and this is 20-24, wonder how it would sound / affect my natural playing.

I actually like it, but different horses for different courses, AND it's nice to see a sig that actually has some cool stuff like the different switching, built in. No matter people say about Herman Li, a lot of it is jealousy, the guy rips at guitar, and has always been good. Compared to a lot of other people, thisd guy really deserves a signature guitar as he's done a lot for kids wanting to pick up the instrument and be good at it.

Well shit, everyone is so negative and pessimistic over here.
Not to mention, I just don't get the infatuation with active pups, but I won't get into that. I wouldn't complain about dimarzios coming stock.

What's with everyone tearing apart this new guitar? Yeah, I'm not a big fan of Herman whatsoever, but at least he's coming up with new ideas. The grip is just supposed to be inventive and new -- even if it looks like dog shit, at least Ibanez is being creative.

But it is a pretty sweet guitar. Im glad they didnt call it the Herman Li signature model, and rather gave it a more ambiguous name.
