Ibanez Xiphos?

Hey guys I am wanting to pick up another guitar and I am intrigued by the Xiphos. I have always loved Ibanez, especially RG's but am wanting to pick up a more metal looking guitar. I like the warrior type shape. It also seems to have a lot of good features for the price.. Mahogany body, maple neckthrough, reverse headstock and sharktooth inlays, also real Dimarzios. Really the only thing I don't like is the edge III bridge which I haven't heard anything good about. I hear it neck dives a bit but for the price i can live with it. Anybody have one? Any feedback will be appreciated. How do the D activators sound? Is the trem that horrible? Thanks.

My Edge III hasn't given me any problems, but if does become a problem for you, you can always throw a Schaller FR in there.

Gee thanks for all the help. I already searched most of the threads are from before the thing even came out or are about Muhhammed Scuimez. I was just wanting some updated info from owners without reading through 80 pages of crap from 2 years ago.

The Edge III is absolutely fantastic. I loved the one on the Xiphos I had, and I'm pretty sure Chris has a lot of good things to say about it too.

Are you being sarcastic or did you really like it?

compared to other licensed trems, its definately on the top of the cheaper runs. The zr/lopro/edge/edgepro are better, but those are designed to be right along with the ofr
