Did you read the first post? Its the Parker neck, so its the Parker fretboard. A maple neck would completely defeat the purpose of the line. I think that "it needs a maple fretboard" is a reflex response to every new model thread ever posted on this forum.

yes I read it. Did you bother reading what I wrote? I said if it was aimed at a shredder it should offer a maple fretboard. I could give a rats about a a parker neck.

The Parker neck is a one piece deal - there is no real separate fretboard. Go play one and you can see the weave of the carbon fiber through the glass composite that forms the actual playing surface. The stainless steel frets are also just glued straight on, because you can't cut into the neck at all either. The neck as a whole also plays way better than any traditionally constructed neck I've ever touched, so yeah, its marketed to shredders who want the best playing neck money can buy. Maple would have been a vastly inferior choice.

It does nothing for me. What one guitar player prefers over another is completly subjective. What you claim to be the best money can buy is not necessarily what other think. And I didn't say put a maple neck on the parker neck. As I said the parker neck does nothing for me.

So I'll just go back to the "maple neck reflex" then.
