Insane cheap 6er on eBay!! (56k beware)

I was bored today browsing eBay and found that insane guitar.
It's from a korean factory that does OEM stuff for many rebranding company around the world (in France they are distributed under the brand "Whale" by a company named Total Music).
I had the pleasure to try a similar shaped guitar but far less gorgeous (no inlay, alder wings, walnut top, etc...) and those are excelent for the money!

This one is branded Raven West

a few pics cause I can :

specs :
maple neck through + walnut strips
mahogany wings with splated maple top (lightly flamed on this one)
bound macassar ebony fretboard with vine inlay
wilkinson tuners
some licensed floyd
certainly some duncan designed style pickups

I totaly see this with some gold mounting ring and a set of BKPs cWarpigs

I've owned two raven west guitars and they are pretty lame.

Cheap hardware, plastic-feeling neck... dead tone.

I would stay away from their guitars honestly... never again for me.

Dunno about those raven west really but the Whale I've tried were really good and had really nice woods and finish.

Did you see how it says "For Style Only" on all the pictures? Yeah.... they do that because when you get your guitar it looks NOTHING like that one!

The one I got had a AA maple top that was like 3mm thick and the body had knots galore. The second one was made of walnut and maple stripes but looked nothing like the pictures on eBay... that's why they had to write that it was the same style, because the guitar you receive most likely won't look like the model pictured!

haha too bad, at least the Whale have a very good quality control. Too bad they don't do that model, I'd be all over it in a heart beat

i'm not sure about the quality as i've never played a raven west guitar, but that looks gorgeous.
