Once again, i don't get the "OMG 24 frets is cool"... I think it destroys the aesthetics of what they are : copies or variations on Gibson models (that all have 22 frets).

Waiitt! Those guitars are NEW for 08? That Prophecy SG came to the local guitar store a few weeks back.

It is actually a really nice guitar for the money. Made in China, but the fretwork was suprisingly good. The EMG pickups sounded great especially in Drop C# and the grain on the fingerboard was beaut. The only gripe I have with it is that it's too neck heavy and the dye used on the fingerboard was cheapish so it rubbed off on your fingers.

damn! im playing an elitist SG for the break and it's neck-heavy - makes me cry inside, as it's a beautiful guitar. all of a sudden i want to play my roommates gibson lol

that les paul is weird. if you wanted 24 frets on an lp then go for an esp eclipse. i think the epi is still a 24 3/4 scale so the cutaway makes no sense. the quilt tops look neato but really i'd just go esp.
