Christmas Guitar

I'm looking for a RG/Dinky shaped guitar with an origional floyd rose and blackouts in it. A reverse headstock is a major plus.

So. The cheapest way I'm seeing this some to happen is buying something rather low priced and switching out the pups/bridge.

Suggestions?

Buy Jackson DXMB X Electric Guitar online at Musician's Friend

I was kinda looking at that...but lower price would be kinda sweet.
Color should be white, gray, black, or bright green. Ha.

Thanks bros.

None of them appeal to me at all.

Flamed top = ick.

Jackson DKMG.

Take out the EMGs, sell them and use the profit to get some Blackouts then drop some dineros on an OFR.

If you want something a bit cheaper, try the DXMG which is the same as the DKMG except without an arched top, EMGHZs and has a basswood body.

The DXMG is what I have really been looking at...

I dont think I care about an arched top...

And every source except the jackson websight says its alder...hm.

And a price range of under 5 would be nice.

The RGR should be an improvement over the RG5EX1, which I owned.

The only thing I had a problem with, but it wasn't too huge, was the Edge III tremolo system. I'm not that much of a trem person, though. You might want to get an Edge Pro, though the pickups will cost more...

"Designed by EMG" pickups will get you nothing. Or, next to nothing.
