i'd try it.

theres just something about playing a piece of wood that gets to me. i'm looking forward to seeing more experimentation in alternate materials. especially considering once we get to a point where we understand the tonal properties of man made materials we could start having complete control over the materials tone.

sounds neato to me at least...
