The more I read the praise the more I just think "oh god oh god! I have one coming!"
Summer couldn't come soon enough.

A bit more information... all the pickups are no cost added (so there is absolutely no reason to get DiMarzios). The camo covers for Bareknuckles are 40 pounds extra. There will be several options as far as other things, but he hasn't determined what they will be yet. January/February he says he will know and then they will be posted on the website as well.

You better get one, Stitch

I was on the phone to Doug yesterday regarding my 7-string, and he said he believes the new B6 guitars really are very special instruments, he's taken all the bells and whistles off in terms of woods that are time-consuming to work with, but has still kept the emphasis on quality, tone and playability.

One thing that i know Doug stands by is pride and quality in his work, he absolutely would not make a guitar that was sub-standard in his views, so although these are supposedly 'budget' Blackmachines, they are killers nonetheless.

And, imo, £1050 for a completely hand-built guitar, with £200 BKPs and an Indian Rosewood fret-board and headstock overlay is an absolute 100% BARGAIN!

They look nice for the price if you're in the UK, but the rosewood and KxK make it a complete no-go in the US

(the rosewood is a personal thing )

I have to look into these KxK guitars, i know very little about them.

Normally we (the UK) get completley shafted when buying guitars, amps and whatever else, and shipping and import tax means it's barely beneficial even buying from the states at a cheaper price and having it sent over ...but it's nice to have businesses such as Blackmachine, Organic, Bareknuckle etc. that turn the tables on you guys for once, make you pay out of the a$$ for something

I like how bolt ons sound a lot more than neck throughs, so for me, KxK is a no go I am a little leery of the rosewood too but I'll have to see. I was going for a warmer sound, but will it be too warm?

SOMEONE ELSE! I found another person who prefers a bolt on to a neck through! THANK GOD!
i dont dislike neck through, or any joint for that matter, not at all. but bolt on is in fact my favourite, when its done correctly.

and i want to check out a BM but i cant afford to, and good luck getting a shop in here to order in a 2000 nonlespaul. it looks like an rg kinda, so in the shop owners eyes it is an rg kinda. unfortunately. fucking dollar

Shit my reply didn't come through. Anyway, Lozek, do you know any specifics of the company Doug found to help him build these B6s?

holy fuck!

Well, the body wood is bright so tone-wise it should work out... the neck-through thing is all personal preference so that's all good.

+1

Trust Doug, he would have spent ages figuring out what woods would work the best for this guitar.

Rosewood is a warm sounding wood, but the neck (laminated maple) will compliment that, being a very light tonewood, and body (Idigbo) will round it off nicely.

I find indian rosewood much nice than standard Rosewood, it's boootiful. If i had enough money for the deposit i would have ordered one the other dayy
