![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Ibanez MTM2 + EMG81/85 any good? i really liked the mtm1 i got to play once, but i simply prefer the finish of the mtm2. I would be installing a 81/85 set in it for sure, so that's not an issue. I'm mostly concerned about the overall quality of this guitar as its almost a third of the mtm1 price... so how does a mtm2 with a 81/85 set compare to the MTM1 (besides the neck-joint obviously) thx, dudes! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i've been using one to test amps and stuff lately when i havent brought my rgt with me. its a suprisingly good guitar for the $. the fretwork was excellent, and it just played near perfect. granted, i doubt all of them will come out this way, quality control isnt as excelent with the mtm2. but that doesnt mean you cant find a good one, and it does mean that if you get one that isnt as nice, it can be made nice with a good setup. Reverse Headstocks or Bust Dude...i just got a spam email that was titled "Funky date rape trick" -Zepp88 I just got another funny email "Her pussy smiled at me" -Zepp88 Don't tell me you haven't heard of Raptor Jesus It's important that you know this information :headnod: It will decide your fate when we are pwned. -JoeOvChaosI was going KAT KAT KAT KAT and you were going KAT... chk... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | i dig both finishes, so i wouldn't be respraying a MTM1 anyway. The only thing i dislike about the mtm1 is the retarded inlay. I could live with it, though. My main argument for getting a mtm2 over the mtm1 is the price and that i already own a good 6-string (duncan-loaded rg3120) that'll most likely remain my main anyway... |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | oh. is that a jcustom? cause i hate you if it is. psh. yeah get the mtm2 dude its solid, worst case scenario youd have to get the frets crowned and shit, thats only 100 including a full setup. |
