I dig the shape but I'd rather see it with a blank Ebony board . total blackout!

Note that it has the rounded headstock tip, just like all of Phil's personal guitars. IIRC Jackson built ten black, ten yellow, and ten red guitars, all personally signed on the back of the headstock by Phil.

I love the black with maple combo. Blank ebony would look great on a white one, but this run was only done in black, red and yellow.

The key thing to remember with these guitars is that you can't fully appreciate the shape by just seeing a frontal shot. The bodies are truly three-dimensional and have an arched top and back on them that's twice as extreme as, say, an Ibanez S series. They start with a double-thick piece of alder for the body, then make a huge pile of sawdust.

You can see the arch of the top better in these pictures. It is almost impossible to really photograph the top. The arch is at least an inch and a half tall.
